Schultz Remains Hard at Work

March 12, 2010

While our campaign to be the next State Representative of the 21st District recently became official, it has been up and running for over a year.  On February 23rd I was excited to formally enter one of the most watched races in the Missouri House.  It was an impressive day for democracy.  At a time when so many citizens are expressing concern about our government, it was refreshing to see hundreds of people waiting in line, eager for the opportunity to represent our great state.

Since the beginning of the year I have been very active knocking on over 100 doors per week, calling people all across the state, organizing events to meet constituents, and building a grassroots operation to make the 21st proud.

As I meet people from Audrain, Boone, Callaway and Monroe counties, I keep hearing the same thing.  Our neighbors want their legislators to offer Missourians practical solutions to create job growth, better access to health care, and a globally competitive education, all while maintaining a fiscally responsible budget.

Our campaign has several upcoming events that I hope you can attend.  In Mexico, I will be hosting a fundraiser at the Audrain Historical Society on March 19th from 2-4.  Also, my birthday is coming up this month and I want to have the opportunity to celebrate with you.  Please join us at Boone Tavern in Columbia on March 24th from 5:30-7:30.

As always, if you have any questions about me or our campaign, or any comments you wish to share with me, please feel free to contact me anytime.  I sincerely appreciate your support.
